Depending on the blood, when I've fed. They felt when I died as well and came back a vampire.
[ Thankfully it hadn't been traumatic?? More like a sudden snap in the bond that lasted for only a moment or two. ]
When Ciaran lost one of his bonded, I felt his pain and sadness over it. I didn't know what had happened, just that he was in pain.
