— FIRST IMPRESSIONS —

APPEARANCE Hector has tanned skin and wavy silver hair worn in a bob. Blue-grey eyes (that now glow bright blue when he casts spells), deceptively built (he has muscles from forging). He's around 5'10"ish.

CLOTHING He tends to wear blacks, blues, and grays, usually with a red sash around his waist that is a hold-over from his childhood. He's used to fantasy-medieval styles, and likes a tall boot and a mid to long tunic with pants. He usually keeps gloves nearby for protection when he's forging.

DEMEANOR Hector is reclusive. He doesn't seek out social interactions for their own sake, but he's willing to strike up a conversation about topics that interest him- magic, philosophy, science, pets, etc. When he does speak up, he's usually sarcastic and frank as a defense mechanism. He's not interested in softening his words to keep the peace. As a Forgemaster, he has an aura that some find off-putting.

OLFACTORY He's from a medieval time period, but he also lived with Dracula for a while so anachronisms abound. He tends to keep himself clean when he's able, and he probably mostly smells like whatever he's been working most closely with at the time- corpses, old books, magical components.

Devil Forging The skill for which he was recruited to Dracula's army. Hector can 'forge' (relatively fresh) corpses into Night Creatures (basically, monsters). The bodies he creates become a vessel for a soul from Hell, and are not considered 'undead'. It's a new life form, comparable to the naturally occurring Night Creatures that exist in their universe.

Necromancy Rather than forming a corpse into a new creature, Hector can simply revive it instead. With humans, it creates a zombie. With animals, it creates a reanimated pet.

Blacksmithing Hector has the skills to forge his own magical tools, and, theoretically, other mundane objects as well.

Magic Aside from his necromatic powers, Hector can create magical barriers/cages using runes, and has an understanding of other magical rituals and procedures.
