[ Hopefully Hector wasn't planning on going out for the evening on this... particular night... around Modranicht. Hopefully not because one Trevor Belmont is trekking his way up to the front of the faun's shared residence with a wicker basket in hand. Really, with the cloak he's got on complete with basket, he almost looks like Little Red Riding Treffy. Thankfully he's not. But he so very much enjoys the cool winter weather and the fact that it grows dark so much earlier than it does in the summer months and so he's feeling a little good as he makes his way up to the front door and knocks on it with a rap of his pale knuckles.
Knock knock, Hector. You have a Special Delivery. ]
[If Trevor is Little Red Riding Treffy, does that make Hector the Big Bad Faun?
Cezar gives a happy little bark as Trevor knocks, and with his faunish powers, Hector understands the pug's greeting for 'Friend-Trevor' Hector's not much for holiday spirit, but he does always enjoy a visit from his vampire.
He comes to the door and takes just a moment to make sure he's presentable before he opens up for his bonded.]
[ There's a smile that gently tugs at the corner of his lips when he hears the barking of the pup that's found himself here with Hector and when his bonded comes to open the door, he cants his head and lets his gaze just... roam over him. Hector always looks like a snack. ]
It's bloody whatever o'clock at night. Who the hell goes for a midnight picnic in the middle of winter?
[ Maybe vampires do?? He'll have to confer with Alucard on that later. However, for now, he slinks an arm around the faun's waist and pulls him in for a kiss then. Just like that. Without a second thought or care of doing so and it's a sweet kiss which lacks the carnal hunger for his blood. Though... give that a bit. Maybe. ]
I brought you your gift. [ He murmurs against those lips as he tilts his head back enough to look down to the faun and hold up the basket again. ] You know. For this Modranicht thing.
[Hector takes a step back from the doorframe so Trevor’s hungry eyes get the full picture. He raises an eyebrow.]
Well, you couldn’t exactly go at midday.
[And the cold isn’t much of a problem for the undead, is it?
But he gets a kiss from the vampire, not cold at all. It gives Hector a warm and fuzzy feeling. He tries not to smile like an idiot, but he might be failing.]
Oh? We’re doing gifts now?
[A little teasing, since gifts had caught Trevor off guard at their bonding ceremony.]
[ He doesn't see why it wouldn't be but, either way, he smiles and lets himself in, dusting the powdered snow off him at the doorstep before doing so. He's mindful of his boots, making sure to remove them before he wanders in any further and a little attention is given to the pup as he goes about undoing his cloak. ]
Probably should have asked before dropping by like this but, I was in a good mood.
But. That's not why he's here.... entirely.... and he comes to hold out the basket then once he's a little more settled inside and Hector is there and able to take it. Inside? Inside the faun will find various jars of flora and fauna that one could find out in the Wilde. While nothing truly unique, perhaps, tucked amongst the various jars are a few treats for Cezar and a small gold medallion with a bat engraved on the face of it. ]
It's to keep you safe. [ He adds. ] To ward off those who mean you harm. As much as I want to be there when you need me, I can only go so fast to come to your side.
[The thing about the basket of gifts is that it's... thoughtful? And Hector still doesn't know what to do with that? It's rare to feel such a good mood through Trevor's end of the bond, and Hector's a little overwhelmed.
There's even something for his dog, which is 100% the fastest way to Hector's heart.
He reaches into the basket and runs his fingers over the jars, the treats, the medallion, as if he expects it's an illusion that might fade away at his touch.
Usually Hector's instinctual response to Trevor's kindness is to want to devour his dick. But... no, (well, yeah, a little, but...) he wants to wrap his arms around the vampire, pull him close and lay his head against Trevor's chest to listen for a heartbeat he knows isn't there.
So he does.]
...you'll understand if I don't return the favor. With the charms.
[Because that ended really fucking poorly last time.]

[ Oh he remembers those charms and the way they left his palm smoking until he fed from the faun to kickstart the healing a little quicker. In fact, he can't help but chuckle a bit as he recalls. Regardless of the silver coins, it had been sweet the faun had gifted hi with something to protect him.
Wrapping an arm around Hector's shoulders, he hums a little, cool fingers brushing against his arm some. ]
It's still the thought that counts.
[ He murmurs with a set of pale fingers carding through the faun's hair gently before he pulls back just enough to look down to him. ]
Besides. If you still want to be with me after I plowed you as my bat self, I consider myself lucky.
That's charitable, considering they almost burned through your hand.
[Maybe Hector's being a little hyperbolic, but he's still mortified about that, and feeling the rumble of Trevor's chuckles isn't helping. He frowns up at Trevor.]
Your bat self didn't laugh at me. No sass at all from him.
[Somehow, Hector knew Trevor wasn't going to let him live his monster-fucking down. Man, if he didn't love him, he'd probably spend most of his time absolutely infuriated with Trevor.
But he does, so he peels himself off of Trevor and slides the medallion around his neck.]
Hopefully this doesn't ward off all vampires. The least I can offer you is a drink.
[ Honestly, he's only ever fucked Hector when in is batty boy form and the fact that Hector had liked it so much and hadn't found that form of him to be repulsive in any way had calmed a deep-seated insecurity of his that he's never quite voiced before.
Gently, he drops a kiss down to the crown of the faun's head and hums a little as he lets fingers trail along those shoulder blades. ]
Only the bad ones. Or ones who want to steal you away from me.
[ Grinning, he chuckles some as he ghosts the tips of his pale fingers along the nape of Hector's neck then. ]
Did you want me to stay around for a bit? I didn't ask if you were busy before I came over like this.
[He teases, but good luck trying to get him to ever take it off now.
He leans into Trevor's touch, for once not trying to push for more. Just enjoying being close like this. It's sappy as hell.]
Yes, stay. I like having you here. As a bat, as a vampire. If I'd gotten to know you more before you transformed, I would've even liked you as a human.

[That’s the hazard of not letting your bonded know you’re doing gifts.
He watches fondly as Trevor pets his dog. Such a little thing, but it makes Hector’s heart do a flutter Trevor probably feels through the bond.]
I don’t mind. You should know by now you’re always welcome to come inside.
[Wink wonk! A little innuendo to cover up his doki dokis.]
